Our Damask Rose Hydrosol or Floral water (Rosa damascena) is preservative-free, 100% natural and pure. Certified organic (USDA, JAS, Ecocert), this hydrosol is distilled from the flowers. This plant is cultivated in Bulgaria.

The Rosa damascena or Damask Rose is a natural hybrid originally from the Middle East. With aromatic and bright pink flowers, the Damask rose is mainly cultivated today for its unique fragrance highly appreciated in the Perfume industry.

Floral and delicate, gentle and fresh, the Damask Rose hydrosol is mostly famous for its refreshing, purifying, balancing and soothing virtues. In cooking, its flavors will subtly enhance various sweet preparations such as drinks, salads or jams based on red fruits and pistachio, as well as oriental dishes or pastries. Cosmetic-wise, this hydrosol is best known to refresh, cleanse, soothe and tone the skin as well as slow down the skin aging process.

HOW TO USE
• Our hydrosols can be used both internally (it is recommended to dilute) and externally (facial toner, food, etc.)
• Suitable for all skin types cosmetic-wise. Ideal for mature skins.  
• Use precaution: hydrosols are sensitive products with a limited shelf life.
• Shelf life & storage instructions: They can be kept 2 to 3 months once the bottle is opened. Keep in a cool and dry place, away from light. We recommend to store them in the refrigerator.

INGREDIENTS
The only ingredient inside of this hydrosol is the Damask Rose Hydrosol.
No added preservatives or alcohol.

Specialized in the filtering of floral waters for more than 20 years, equipped with a stainless steel and glass system as well as following a packaging procedure that includes the decontamination of all bottles and caps with organic alcohol, Florihana guarantees an impeccable microbiological cleanliness of all hydrosols.

Microbiological tests are systematically run for each of our batches. The results are then published in the analysis reports section on each corresponding product page of our Florihana website and downloadable from the “Technical Documents” tab.

All our hydrosols are stored in a temperature-controlled room and kept away from light.
