Xanthan Gum is a cosmetic-grade
natural polysaccharide produced by fermenting glucose/sucrose with
Xanthomonas campestris bacteria. It acts as a thickener and emulsion
stabilizer. High-purity and it boosts viscosity even at low dosages and
suits diverse personal care formulations.
- Natural source thickener with high viscosity at low concentrations
- Stabilizes emulsions and foams; enhances surfactant foam volume
- Suitable for formulating shampoos, conditioners, lotions, creams, body washes, shower gels
Recommended Usage: 0.5-2% (as low as 0.1% for some applications)
